The votes have been tallied and the winner is Bronte Boathouse!

"Bronte Boathouse is the ultimate destination for a casual lakefront dining experience," said Visit Oakville in a news release.

"The Bronte Boathouse offers stunning harbour views that create the perfect backdrop for any meal. Whether you’re stopping by for a leisurely lunch, a sunset dinner or simply enjoying cocktails with friends, the picturesque scenery and welcoming atmosphere make it a favourite patio spot in the community."

While Visit Oakville did not release voting figures, spokesperson Christa Poole said this was "the most votes ever recorded for any category in Visit Oakville's Talk of the Town Awards."

"It's clear that Oakville residents (and visitors) are passionate about their patio's," Poole said. "Bronte Boathouse emerged as the clear winner reflecting the community's strong support for this amazing dining spot."

Located at 2340 Ontario Street, Bronte Boathouse first opened in the summer of 2019 and is best known for its lakeside view of Bronte Harbour and its diverse menu.

Their offerings include selections from the sushi bar, sandwiches, various seafood mains, pizzas, and more.

Bronte Boathouse’s win in the 'Best Patio' category is a testament to their dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and memorable experiences," added the news release.
