After nearly three weeks, the vehicle stuck in the wall at West Oak Village long-term care home has been removed from the premises.
The car originally found its way to the buildings grounds after a driver swerved and crashed through the fences and slammed up against the outside of the building on Dec. 16, 2024 sadly killing the driver.

The car was ordered by building management to remain in position because some feared that structural could be caused if the car was removed. The vehicle remained stuck in the wall of the building for three weeks.
36 hours after originally publishing the story, the vehicle was removed from the building and left little to no damage done to the wall. As of Jan. 9, 2025, the clean-up work is now complete.
As seen in the photo, the only visible damage to the building from the outside is an imprint from the car's front that has exposed some insulation from the inside.
The building will still need to fix the minor damage but the most important part of the process has been completed.
