Current details:
Significant snowfall late Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
What:
Total snowfall amounts near 15 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour.
Poor visibility in heavy snow.
When:
Beginning late Wednesday afternoon and ending through Thursday morning. The heaviest snow is expected to fall Wednesday night.
Additional Information:
Snow, at times heavy, will begin late Wednesday afternoon. Total amounts of near 15 cm are possible. This snowfall will impact the Wednesday evening commute. Snow may become mixed with ice pellets late Wednesday evening and overnight for some areas. Snow will gradually taper off through Thursday morning.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
