What Oakville's lights at Town Hall represent this September

The Town of Oakville has released its lighting recognition schedule for this month, during which the LED lights on town buildings will display the official colours of charitable or non-profit organizations or town events.

The Town of Oakville has released its lighting recognition schedule for this month, during which the LED lights on town buildings will display the official colours of charitable or non-profit organizations or town events.

The exterior of Town Hall has multi-colour capable LED lights that can be used to display different colours in order to create awareness of or celebrate an organization or town event.

The list for this month includes:

September 2: Teal for World PCOS Day
September 3: Yellow for Forever Captain Poodaman The Ahmad Butler Foundation
September 4: Gold for Childhood Cancer Canada
September 9: Red for FASD Awareness Day
September 13: Pink for World Sepsis Day
September 16: Blue, yellow and red for National Coaches Week
September 21: Green for World Mitochondrial Disease Week
September 26 to 30: Orange for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

When there are no recognition events scheduled, the default lighting is set to Oakville blue.
