Former Oakville Blades superstar Jack Ricketts was named ECAC forward of the week in the NCAA after his performance with the Quinnipiac Bobcats.

Ricketts scored a Hattrick during Quinnipiac's only game this week against Dartmouth and his third goal of the game was the overtime winner.

So far this season, Ricketts leads Quinnipiac in goals with 14 in 26 games and has been a big factor of the Bobcats 16-8-2 record this season.

But Ricketts has always shown up in big games even dating back to his time with the Blades.

In the 2018-19 season, Ricketts was a playoff hero for Oakville as he scored 20 points in 19 games and helped lead the Blades to an OJHL championship.

The following season, when Ricketts was captain of the team. He scored 70 points in 51 games and was primed for another deep playoff run but the pandemic sadly stopped the season abruptly.

Ricketts earned a scholarship to play at College of the Holy Cross the following year and played there for four seasons and is spending his last NCAA eligible year at Quinnipiac with the hopes that he can pursue hockey even further after this season.
