Forge FC continues its dominance in the Canadian Premier League (CPL) as Oakville goalkeeper Christopher Kalongo secures the CPL Goalkeeper of the Month title for April 2024.

The Canadian Premier League announced Friday that Forge FC goalkeeper Christopher Kalongo has been named a CPL Goalkeeper of the Month for April. Forge has now completed a clean sweep of the month with an undefeated record and three monthly CPL Awards.

Kalongo, 22, posted a clean sheet, 10 saves made, only two goals conceded, and three wins over three appearances in April.

He was named to the CPL's Gatorade Team of the Week in weeks 2 and 3 and helped lead Forge FC to a 3-0-0 record over that span.

Forge FC's lineup has consistently garnered attention this season, with notable mentions including Tristan Borges, Beni Badibanga, and Malik Owolabi-Belewu in Week 1 of the CPL Gatorade Team of the Week. Additionally, Borges, David Choiniere, Daniel Parra, and Kalongo were recognized in Week 2, followed by Borges, Parra, and Kalongo in Week 3.

With their sights set on future victories, Forge FC continues to showcase their strength in the CPL and Kalongo's recent achievement stands as a testament to the team's dedication and talent.
