As a not-for-profit organization, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce was established in 1949. The Oakville Chamber has grown to over 1,100 member businesses representing more than 40,000 employees. The Oakville Chamber presents approximately 50-60 events each year and hosts a number of high profile political, business, senior government and community leaders. The Oakville Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The Canadian Chamber Network represents over 200,000 businesses of all sizes in all sectors of the economy and in all regions, and is the largest business association in Canada, and the country’s most influential.
