The Oakville Curling Club is located in the community of Old Oakville in Ward 3. It is adjacent to Wallace Park. The club was founded in 1954 by three avid curlers. The original club repurposed the Victoria Park Skating and Hockey Rink - which had been dormant for 6 years. Opening Day was December 10 1954. The club had in excess of 475 members that first year.
