Tannery Park is a large public park that occupies the peninsula between Lake Ontario and Oakville Harbour, on the harbour’s west side. It is accessed from Walker Street, which bisects the park. Tannery Park is criss-crossed by paved walking paths that lead east to the harbour, north to the former shipyard and west to Waterworks Park on Lake Ontario. It includes a modern pumphouse, a stone cairn erected in 1989, and wooden benches and signage.
