The Halton Regional Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at the I – Care Optical, 300 North Service Road West, Oakville, on September 3rd 2015 at 5:50pm, which is in Dorval Crossing West Plaza.

A lone male entered the store and spoke to the owner about purchasing a pair of sunglasses. The male then removed two pairs of sunglasses from the display case and returned to the counter to continue talking with the owner. The male placed one of these pairs of sunglasses in his pocket and attempted to leave the store. The store owner noticed that a pair of sunglasses were missing and asked the male to return them.

The male tried to leave the store and threatened the store owner with a knife to ensure his escape.

No one was hurt and pair of sunglasses was stolen during the incident.

The male is described as:

White male, 5’10” tall, 25 – 30yrs, short brown hair, a small moustache, wearing a white golf shirt with dark horizontal lines, black shorts, and white running shoes.
