On Wednesday November 18, 2015, at approximately 12:45am, a cleaner discovered some graffiti in a washroom stall at Sheridan College in the Town of Oakville.

The graffiti, written in marker, said there would be more attacks against the west. The graffiti did not make mention of any threat to anyone or anyplace.

Investigators are working with Sheridan College to identify the author of the writing.

The Halton Regional Police has been and will continue to monitor the events going on abroad and have increased proactive uniform patrols in areas of places of worship in our region.

There are no known threats in Halton at this time and the Halton Police continue to work closely with community partners to remain alert and vigilant regarding any suspicious activity.
