24th Annual Oakville Awards for Business Excellence Nominees

The Oakville Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Oakville West have announced the nominees for the 24^th Annual Oakville Awards for Business Excellence (OABE).

“We are thrilled to celebrate business excellence in Oakville. The judges have named 41 local organizations as nominees in 7 categories” said Tim Caddigan, Chair of the Board, Oakville Chamber of Commerce. “Award nominations are based on overall business excellence and the criteria includes excellence in:

1. leadership
2. profile
3. innovation
4. business practices
5. entrepreneurship
6. community contributions"

The awards will be handed out at a gala dinner on Wednesday, March 27^th at the Oakville Conference Centre. Working in partnership with The Rotary Club of Oakville West, the majority of funds raised from the Gala Dinner will be donated directly to the club’s local youth programs.

“The Oakville Awards for Business Excellence has raised almost $1,000,000 for our youth initiatives including the Oakville Rotary Education Awards, Camp Enterprise and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards” said Peter DeGroot, President of the Rotary Club of Oakville West. “We congratulate all of the nominees, and invite the Oakville community to an evening celebrating business excellence, while supporting Oakville youth.”
