Another Armed Robbery in Oakville: CIBC hit

The Halton Regional Police Service are investigating an armed robbery which occurred on Monday March 12, 2018 at approximately 1:45 pm at the CIBC Bank branch located at Speers Rd and Fourth Line in Oakville. Uniform officers, investigators and members of the Canine and Tactical Unit attended the scene.

The suspect was masked and carrying a long gun when he entered the CIBC branch and robbed it of an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect fled the scene in an older model Dodge Caravan type van, grey in color. The van was last seen travelling northbound on Fourth Line.

Suspect description: Male, 6 ft tall, thin build, baggy black pants with 2 white stripes, blue sweater, black mask, red gym bag with white lettering for "Goodlife Fitness". Armed with a long gun.
