Environment Canada issued another weather warning for this evening at 2:30 PM on February 7th for the evening of February 7th and into the morning of the 8th. I'm sorry to say winter isn't going anywhere.

Here is what we have to look forward to:

  1. Freezing Rain
  2. High Winds

The rain/ice rain starts around 4:00 PM. Just in time for rush hour.

The temperature hovers around the zero, but it is the wind that is causing it to feel like minus 4. Ice patches are possible.

The temperature races up to plus 10 by midnight. Gusts could reach up to 80km/h.

Unfortunately,  it drops down to minus two by 9:00 AM on Friday, so any puddles turn to ice. The strong winds continue through Friday.

It will effect the morning commute.

Always keep in mind that spring is just a little over a month away. A weather warning is just part of a Canadian Winter. It will warm up, just not this weekend.

Drive with care.
