On April 17th 2018, break-in suspects were arrested after an observant Oakville resident reported a suspicious vehicle driving aimlessly in his residential neighbourhood which is located in the Lakeshore Woods Community of Oakville. As a result, the Halton Police were called to investigate the matter.
Police quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, which revealed the three male occupants were in possession of break and enter tools. Further investigation revealed the trio was responsible for a residential break and enter that occurred in Toronto on April 13th 2018.
Break-in Suspects Charged:
Nikolaz SALTKUTSISHVILI (30) of North York was charged with:
- Possession of Break-in Instruments
- Break and Enter
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
Anzori MEFARIDZE (28) of no fixed address was charged with:
- Possession of Break-in Instruments
- Break and Enter
Naomi SHENGELIA (39) of Richmond Hill was charged with:
- Possession of Break-in Instruments
- Break and Enter
- Fail to Comply with Bail Recognizance
All three break-in suspects were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
