Now is your opportunity to own a piece of Oakville’s history. You can purchase a brick from the former Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. There are only 500 bricks available for sale. The hospital closed its doors after 65 years in December 2015.

Enjoying a rich history, the original hospital on Reynolds Street held a special role in assisting families during difficult times, as well as welcoming the newest members to our community. Now you can be a part of remembering this history with a special keepsake.

The Oakville Hospital Foundation in partnership with a group of community based businesses has reclaimed a limited amount of bricks from the original hospital building that is scheduled to be demolished at the end of 2016.

The Oakville Hospital Foundation, Caldwell Securities, Cropac Cranes, D’Orazio Infrastructure Group and Perspective Marketing have made a limited lot of bricks available for purchase in the next few months. Reserve your souvenir brick today. Remember a child born at OTMH, recognize a special staff member or volunteer or simply own a piece of Oakville history. Available for $100, all proceeds will be donated to the Oakville Hospital Foundation to continue to support the new state of the art Hospital opened in December. Each donor will receive a $100 charitable tax receipt from the Oakville Hospital Foundation.

Proceeds from the sale of each reclaimed brick will go to the Oakville Hospital Foundation. The money will support the changing health care needs of a much larger and more advanced hospital that services our ever growing town.

The goal is to sell 500 reclaimed bricks at $100 each to raise $50,000 for the new hospital. Each donor will receive a $100.00 Charitable Donation Receipt.
