Commercial Break & Enters: Aaron Steven Lee Charged

On July 20th 2017 during the early morning hours sometime between 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM, Halton Regional Police were called to investigate commercial break & enters.

The investigation revealed that seven commercial businesses were broken into in Oakville in two different areas. Off Lakeshore Road and Maurice had several break ins occur, and the other location was at Bronte Road and West Oak Trail. All of the businesses were closed at the time of entry and no employees were inside. It appears that the culprit was targeting cash registers. During the time of the robberies the accused operated a stolen Hyundai Sante Fe, which was taken from a Burlington residence on the evening of July 19th 2017.

On Saturday, July 22, 2017, the accused was arrested in Brampton by the Peel Regional Police, during a traffic complaint. At this time, the accused was still driving the stolen Sante Fe.

Aaron Steven LEE (30 years of age) of Acton has been charged with:

  1. Break and Enter (8 counts),
  2. Disguise with Intent (7 counts),
  3. Theft of Motor Vehicle (1 count) and
  4. Drive while Disqualified (1 count).

LEE was held for a bail hearing.
