Legacy Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital:

Halton Healthcare will work with the Town to keep the facility secure and to decommission it by March 31, 2016, at which time the Town will take possession.

Oakville Mayor Rob Burton has stated, “Decisions about its use requires Council approval. The town’s current plan, once in possession, is to conduct environmental, heritage and site assessments before substantive demolition takes place.”

Please visit the Town of Oakville website for updates.

In addition to the 39,000 pieces of new equipment already located at the new site, additional furniture and equipment from the legacy site will be moved over several weeks before and after the new hospital opens.
