Fog Advisory issued for Oakville: December 4, 2017

As December begins fluctuating weather conditions are regularly occurring. Today is no exception. Environment Canada has issued a Fog Advisory for Oakville for Monday, December 4, 2017 at 6:16 AM. This is the second fog advisory issued in the past 30 days.

During the advisory, visibility can be reduced rapidly. Drivers are asked to take extreme caution. When visibility is reduced pedestrian are also asked to be careful before they crossing an intersection. The fog advisory is expected to lift by late morning/early afternoon.

Our temperature to is expected to reach a high of plus 8 degrees, with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain is expected to begin late this evening, according to the Weather Channel.

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.

Patchy dense fog has developed across the area early this morning.

Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.

Fog is expected to lift later this morning.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.

Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
