Environment Canada's Freezing Rain Warning has been updated this afternoon with a little additional information. The storm is expected to start on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 4:00 AM.
Here is the update:
Freezing rain is expected to begin Tuesday morning and last for several hours before changing to rain in the afternoon. There is a chance of snow mixed with freezing rain overnight before the freezing rain starts.
Hazardous winter travelling conditions are expected.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Road closures are possible. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.

A freezing rain warning has been issued by Environment Canada for Oakville and surrounding areas for Tuesday, February 7, 2017 starting at midnight and last through to early morning.
Be prepared to see school transportation cancelled, GO Transit to run slowly, and commuter traffic to be heavily impacted. If you can work from home, it might serve you well.
Also freezing rain, often impacts hydro distribution, so be prepared to potentially loose power. The freezing rain will likely dissipate by mid-morning on Tuesday as temperatures rise to a high of plus three.

A period of freezing rain likely Tuesday.
A low pressure area will bring a significant precipitation event to Southern Ontario Tuesday. There is a chance of snow and freezing rain overnight. Freezing rain will begin Tuesday morning and last for several hours before changing to rain in the afternoon.
There is still some uncertainty to the track of the low pressure area, which will affect how much snow, freezing rain, or rain will fall in a particular location.
Hazardous winter travelling conditions can be expected across Southern Ontario.
Environment Canada will continue to closely monitor this weather system. Warnings may be required.
