Georgetown Man Arrested for Indecent Act in Oakville

In August and October of 2018, there were two incidents of an indecent act in different parks/walking trails in Oakville. In both incidents, a male approached an adult woman walking their dog and initiated a conversation.

In one incident, the male's penis was exposed. In the second occurrence, the male made a sexual advance and appeared to be masturbating underneath his clothing.

On May 30 2019, Halton Regional Police were contacted regarding the same male at Kingsford Park in Oakville. The male was behaving strangely and attempting to engage women who were walking their dogs in conversation.

It was at this time, investigators were able to positively link the male to the previous occurrences from 2018.

A 32 year-old Georgetown man was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent act.

The Georgetown man was released on a promise to appear and undertaking.
