Glen Abbey Arson - a suspect has been charged

On Monday, August 28, 2017 an Oakville man was charged regarding a Glen Abbey arson.

At 3:00 AM on Monday, Halton Regional Police Service and the Oakville Fire Department responded to the area of Upper Middle Road and Dorval Drive , regarding a report of two trees on fire.

Upon arrival, police located a 21 year old male who was armed with a 15" machete and wearing a mask. This male was safely arrested and taken to the Oakville police station where he was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Darrian WILSON, of Oakville was charged with the following offences:

  1. Arson
  2. Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  3. Disguise with Intent
  4. Mischief Under $5,000
