Advanced Placement (AP) Information Evenings
Advanced Placement (AP) courses offer enhanced learning and university-level content to students in secondary school.
New for the upcoming school year ~ Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Oakville will be offering the AP Programme, including AP courses in French, in the Fall of 2017!
Parents and students in Grades 7-9 who are interested in learning more about the AP Programme and application process are encouraged to attend one of the following information session in Oakville will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School on October 27, 2016 starting at 7:00 PM.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme Information Evening
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School will host an IB Information Evening on Thursday, October 20, 2016, beginning at 7:00 p.m. All Grades 7 and 8 students and their parents interested in learning more about the IB Programme are encouraged to attend. Staff will be available to provide information about the registration process, and to answer any questions parents or students may have.

Grade 8 Parent Information Evenings
Grade 8 Parent Information Evenings are intended to ease the transition to secondary school for students entering Grade 9 in September, 2017. These information sessions offer an overview of the Grade 9 program, and provide an opportunity for Grade 8 students and their parents to meet staff and tour the school.

Pathways Information
At the Grade 8 Parent Information Evenings listed above, parents will be provided with information to assist them in planning their child’s educational pathway leading to one of four destinations: Apprenticeship, College, University, or Work. Grades 7–12 students and their parents are welcome to learn more about the many regional programs available to our students including: Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM), Dual Credits, Specialty Programs and Cooperative Learning Opportunities.
