At the Regular Board Meeting held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) announced a ratified Memoranda of Settlement with the Association of Professional Student Services Personnel (APSSP), CUPE 5200 (Educational Assistants), and CUPE 5200 Unit B (Designated Early Childhood Educators).

Each of the agreements are effective for the period of September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2017.
Members of the APSSP held their ratification meeting on April 13, 2016, and voted in support of the Memorandum of Settlement. The Memoranda of Settlement with CUPE 5200 and CUPE 5200 Unit B were ratified by members on April 12, 2016.

- There are currently 78 Student Services Personnel, 533 Educational Assistants, and 204 Designated Early Childhood Educators at HCDSB.
- The Board received notice to bargain locally from the APSSP on November 27, 2015 to renew the current 2012-2014 collective agreements between the parties.
- The Board received notice to bargain locally from CUPE Local 5200 and CUPE Local 5200 Unit B on August 24, 2015 to renew the current 2012-2014 collective agreements between the parties.
- On November 2, 2015, representatives of the Ontario Catholic School Trustees' Association (OCSTA), CUPE and the Crown reached a tentative agreement on central terms, which has since been ratified.
- On November 21, 2015, representatives of the Council of Trustees' Associations (CTA), the Education Workers' Alliance of Ontario (EWAO-ATEO), and the Crown reached a tentative agreement on central terms, which has since been ratified.
