The Halton Climate Collective (HCC) has taken a strong call action to transform the communities of Halton Region into a low-carbon, sustainable society. The first step was the launch of a survey campaign called #EveryActionCounts.
The HCC #EveryActionCounts survey allows people living outside of Halton Region to take part. The survey's main target are residents living in the following communities:
- Town of Oakville
- Milton
- City of Burlington
- Town of Halton Hills
The goal is to reach 10,0000 respondents in efforts to:
- Use behavioural facts to decide what Halton communities can do to cut their greenhouse gas emissions
- Identify the barriers
- Find resources to overcome the barriers
In addition to this campaign generating meaningful data, the HCC is developing a community greenhouse gas inventory for individuals and community partners to help create a feasible climate plan.
The HCC emphasizes the benefits of filling out the survey by reaffirming its central message "Every action counts." Data collected from the survey will be used to help reduce Halton Region's carbon footprint.
Fill out the #EveryActionCounts survey and make a difference.
