Iroquois Shore Road robbery suspect faces 23 charges

On February 24, 2019 at about 1:45 pm, the Halton Regional Police Service was contacted by a victim alleging that an unknown male was inside their car which was parked at a retail location on Iroquois Shore Road in Oakville.

The victim saw the suspect in their car as they exited the store.

Police arrived on the scene, located and arrested the 31 year-old man of no fixed address.

He was found to be in possession of several pieces of identification that were not in his name. Investigators believe these pieces of identification to be stolen.

The 31 year-old man has been charged with the following offences:

  1. Theft under $5000 (2 counts)
  2. Possession of stolen property under $5000 (10 counts)
  3. Fail to comply with Mandatory prohibition order (6 counts)
  4. Possession of counterfeit mark (2 counts)
  5. Fail to comply with probation (2 counts)
  6. Possession of a controlled substance
