Major incident near Fourth Line on the GO train tracks

There was a heavy police presence at the railroad crossing at Fourth Line. Fourth Line was cordoned off between Wyecroft and Speers Road. A GO train was stopped at the crossing. Drivers were forced to take alternate routes. 

GO Transit first alerted customers to the incident along the Lakeshore West line in a tweet at 2:16 p.m. on April 10, stating,  "Lakeshore West customers: There is a railway crossing incident between Oakville GO and Bronte GO. Trains travelling through the area may experience minor delays. We will continue to provide delay updates until the situation has been resolved."

According to GO Transit, at 2:42 p.m., "Emergency services have investigated the incident, and regular train service will resume. There will be minor delays and possible modifications."

The incident seems to be significant, but police have yet to provide any additional information.
