Male Pedestrian robbed by a Teenager in Westmount

​On Saturday, December 9, 2017, shortly after 11:00pm Halton Regional Police responded to the report of a robbery of a male pedestrian near the area of Pine Glen Road and Postmaster Drive in the Town of Oakville. This robbery took place the Westmount community and close to Emile Carr Public School.

The male pedestrian was walking in the area when he was confronted by a group of 6 male youths. One of the youths produced an expandable baton and demanded the victim’s jacket. The jacket was turned over to the suspect. No injuries were sustained.

On Thursday, December 14, 2017, Halton Regional Police identified the male party responsible for the robbery.

A male youth (14) from Oakville was charged with:

  1. Robbery
  2. Utter Threats
  3. Possession of Weapons for Dangerous Purpose
  4. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  5. Breach of Recognizance
