If traffic along the eastbound QEW past Royal Windsor Drive wasn't already bad enough, a multi-vehicle accident that occurred late Sunday Morning, Aug 8, just after 11:00 AM, closed down three of the four lanes.
Ontario Provincial Police, along with Oakville Fire Department and Halton EMS, were on scene.
By noon all lanes had re-opened; however, traffic was backed up for several kilometres in both directions.
