Along with the events here is some addition useful information:
- Please note that all government and banks will be closed including community centres.
- The YMCA will be open, as well as the Oakville Museum.
- Downtown Oakville is designated as a tourist destination, so retailers have the opportunity to stay open.
- Oakville Transit will be offering its holiday service schedule from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Mississauga: Swing into summer, Mardi Gras-style! Come to the Square on Victoria Day weekend for a party that is guaranteed to kick off the season right. Bring your dancing shoes, and get ready to move to the sounds of the Stooges Brass Band. Straight from the Big Easy, the Stooges will be bringing their bombastic blend of hip hop and New Orleans Brass that is sure to have you out of your seat. With drumlines and dancers setting the stage, we dare you try and sit still.
Food Truck Eats will also be here, hosting Celebration Square's first Food Truck Rally of the season!Food trucks on-site from noon to 8 p.m.
Milton: Milton Boomfest is happening at the Milton Fairgrounds from 10 AM on Saturday May 17th to the 19th. Victoria Day fireworks will go off at dusk on Monday May 19th.
