The Halton Regional Police are investigating an assault with a weapon that occurred on Thursday August 22, 2019 at 5:40 pm in the parking lot of the Swiss Chalet restaurant located on Cross Avenue in Oakville.
The victim and two unknown suspects got into a verbal altercation while driving in the area of Trafalgar Road and Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville. The unknown suspects followed the victim to the above location.
One of the suspects exited their vehicle continuing the altercation with the victim. During the altercation the victim was subsequently stabbed in the back.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Suspects are described as:
1. Male/Brown, heavy build, with dark hair.
2. Male/Brown, thin build, in his 20s with dark hair.
