Mansoor Khan, Ward 6, By-Election, July 13 2015 | Mansoor Khan

Mansoor Khan is the dashing younger brother of the late Max Khan who passed away this past winter, leaving the seat of ward 6 vacant. Mansoor is a Chiropractor who studied in Texas after graduating from the University of Western Ontario. He moved to Oakville with his parents in 1989, and has called Oakville home every since.

“I would like to continue with Max’s legacy,” answered Mansoor after he was asked why he wants to be the new town councillor for Ward 6. “I worked closely with Max over the years on various community projects.”

Currently Mansoor lives with his wife and 3 children in River Oaks, and works from home. He feels that being in Oakville all day, will allow him to continue with his work with a medical research company which is working towards helping prospective MS patients, and being a the town councillor for Ward 6.

The issues of Ward 6 for Mr. Khan are:

  • Balanced Growth by preserving green-space while understanding the need to move residents through Ward 6.
  • Increased community awareness by providing ease of attending meetings.
  • Aviation Noise which could be greatly reduced by altering land approaches, speed, wing flap angles

Mansoor wants to let residents of Ward 6 to know that he will be bringing empathy, deep commitment to finding the truth, and balance to the community.
