Pedestrian killed by Train at 4th Line

On Sunday September 29, 2019 at approximately 0140hrs, Halton Regional Police were dispatched to the railroad tracks in the area of Fourth Line and Speers Road in the Town of Oakville.  A 911 call was received that a pedestrian had been struck by a GO train.

Emergency services attended the scene and confirmed that a pedestrian had been struck and killed by the westbound GO train.  The Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation.  GO Special Constables also attended the scene and assisted with the investigation.

The identity of the pedestrian will not be released.
