Police arrest a man suspected of torching an Oakville pizza parlor

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest concerning an arson investigation in Oakville.

On Sunday, June 5, 2022, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Four Brothers Pizza, located at 2828 Kingsway Drive in Oakville, was set on fire.

A suspect threw a rock through a window of the business and then threw a gas can into the restaurant, causing approximately $18,000 worth of damage.

Officers with the 2 District Criminal Investigation Bureau conducted a thorough investigation and, on Monday, June 20, 2022, arrested Tyler Wesley (29) of Hamilton.

Officers also executed a search warrant at his residence in Hamilton. 

Halton Police charged Wesley with:

  • Arson – Damage to Property
  • Possession of Incendiary Material

Wesley was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
