Arrested: Police Search for suspect: Brent ZOSCHKE

On Thursday, November 9, 2017 the Halton Regional Police 20 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau working with the Hamilton Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit located and arrested Brent ZOSCHKE in Mississauga.

ZOSCHKE is being held in custody charged with:

  1. Driving While Disqualified;
  2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
  3. Assault with a Weapon;
  4. Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident x2;
  5. Flight while pursued by Peace Officer;
  6. Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

​Investigators with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance to locate Brent ZOSCHKE, a suspect wanted for numerous offences in the Town of Oakville. The investigation was initiated following a report received regarding a stolen licence plate.

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, police located Brent ZOSCHKE asleep in a gold coloured Ford 500 with stolen plates at RIOCAN Oakville Place. Once the ZOSCHKE woke, he immediately started the car and accelerated in reverse, intentionally colliding with a marked police vehicle. ZOSCHKE then fled the area in the car deliberately hitting a second police vehicle in the process. A police officer received minor injuries as a result.

Brent ZOSCHKE then led members of the HRPS and OPP on a pursuit on the QEW until it was discontinued for public safety.

Brent ZOSCHKE is described as: Adult male, with a medium build and long black hair. His most recent address known to police is in Hamilton.

An Arrest Warrant has been obtained for Brent ZOSCHKE for:

  1. Possession of property obtained by crime
  2. Fail to remain at the scene of a collision x2
  3. Assault with a weapon
  4. Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  5. Drive while disqualified
  6. Flight from police
