Police Seek Identity of Suspect in Oakville Break and Enters

Detectives from the Halton Regional Police Service 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking the identity of a male responsible for early morning Oakville break and enters to apartment buildings. Both buildings are located in the White Oaks and Trafalgar Road area.

On April 24, 2019 at approximately 3:55 am, the lone male suspect was observed on security camera prying open a side door and entering an apartment building in Oakville. Once inside the building, the male attempted to use a grinder saw to access the tenant mailboxes, the superintendent office and an underground garage.

The suspect was unable to access those locations or the mailbox. He then proceeded to pry open a vending machine in the lobby of the building and steal beverages from the machine.

On April 24, 2019 at 5:10 am, the same male suspect was observed on security camera entering another apartment building in Oakville. The suspect again attempted to gain access to the building superintendent office and the mailboxes unsuccessfully.

Suspect's Description:

  1. Male
  2. white
  3. 30-35  years of age
  4. slim build
  5. 5'10 – 6'0
  6. dark hair

He was wearing black coloured pants, a black hoodie with a white zipper, white shoes and an army green camouflage hat and carrying a grey backpack.

Police are asking the assistance of the public in identifying the male involved and want anyone who may know or who may have witnessed this male during the time of the Oakville break and enters to come forward.
