The Private Schools of Oakville for 2019

Oakville has 12 private schools . Each has it’s own specialties and unique qualities. The process of choosing the right school can be daunting.

Academically, they all must follow the Ontario educational guidelines. All the schools focus on academic excellence but the they often include:

  1. Smaller class sizes to provide each child with additional one on one time with teachers
  2. Cutting edge teaching tools
  3. Students are involved in sports and fine arts

Children with unique challenges can be accommodated. High performing children are challenged. Students cannot slip under the radar.

The cost of a private school education can be substantial, and does play a role in which school a parent can consider. However, a parent should enquire about bursaries before ruling out a school. Most of the schools do have significant donors who contribute to the bursaries.

Also when considering tuition fees, please keep in mind that they may not cover everything a student needs. Things such as computers, trips, lunch programs, books and uniforms can add up. Speak with not only with the school admissions office, but also with parents whose children are attending the school in order to understand the real cost.

Tuitions vary according to grade level and there is an additional cost for foreign students.
