Halton Region, in partnership with the Halton District School Board (HDSB), Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) and Ontario Early Years Centres (OEYCs), is once again providing parents with its “Kindergarten: Ready, Set, Go!” online resource to help them manage the significant transition for their children entering kindergarten this fall. Registration for children attending kindergarten in September 2015 commenced January 16 for the HDSB and commences January 27 and 28 for the HCDSB.
At Halton Region we are proud of the strong partnerships we have with the local school boards and OEYCs to develop, implement and grow quality children’s resources such as Ready, Set, Go!. I encourage all parents to visit our website to find the information and resources they need to help their child thrive as they enter a new learning environment.
Now in its third year, the Ready, Set, Go! online resource features comprehensive information and useful tools, including checklists, tips, community supports and programs, and printable resources.
