An updated snowfall warning was issued by Environment Canada on December 24, 2017 at 8:54 PM. Changes are marked in RED.
A low over Ohio this evening is gathering strength and will race towards us this evening. Although the heavy snow has ended temporarily, it is forecast to quickly envelop the area again a little later this evening. It is even showing signs of that already over the west end of Lake Ontario.
Snow amounts of 10 centimetres have already fallen with more significant snow on the way. Visibility is expected to be limited again, beginning later this evening, making travel hazardous.
Snowfall totals of 15 to 20 centimetres are expected by the time it tapers off overnight. Cold brisk winds on Monday will likely create some local blowing snow as well. Travellers are encouraged to adjust their plans if possible.

Precipitation is expected to start at 4:00 PM this afternoon and end on Monday morning at 4:00 AM, according to the Weather Network. Snow fall will be significant from 10 PM to mid-night.
Santa will be travelling through some pretty snowy conditions, so he'll need you to be extra careful as well. He might have to touch down on a street. Take your time, and make sure your car lights are on.
