Stabbing sends one Oakville man to OTMH

On December 2nd, 2017 at approximately 2:00 am, Police were called to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH), regarding a male whom had arrived with serious injuries, which was the result of stab wounds. The Victim was rushed into surgery for medical intervention, most notably, one stab wound being to his lower torso.

Investigation reveals that the stabbing occurred as a result of a verbal and physical altercation within a residence in north/west Oakville.

Investigation also reveals that all persons involved in this matter have been identified and are known to one another.

Investigators have identified the accused as Evan WRIGHT an 18-year-old male whom resides in the City of Brampton.

The Accused was held for a Bail Hearing for the following offences:

  1. Attempted Murder
  2. Carrying a Concealed Weapon

Halton Regional Police Services would remind the public that all persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
