Toronto Regional Police execute Oakville search warrant: 45 Charges

On Saturday, October 7, 2017 The Toronto Regional Police, executed a search warrant in the area of Speers Road and Kerr Street, in Oakville , according to a Toronto Regional Police News Release issued on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 3:48 PM. It was issued to update the public regarding an ongoing investigation. The search resulted in 3 men facing 45 charges.

The Toronto Regional Police seized:

  1. two fire arms,
  2. ammunition and magazines,
  3. cash totalling $27,663,
  4. drugs, and
  5. drug paraphernalia

The three men arrested and charged by the Toronto Regional Police are Liban Hussein 23, Deshawn Hibbert 26 and Jamal Hibbert 30 who are all from Toronto.

Liban Hussein was arrested and has been charged with:

  1. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x2
  2. Possession Restricted Weapon with Ammunition x2
  3. Careless Storage Firearm x2
  4. Careless Storage Ammunition
  5. Possession of Prohibited Device x2
  6. Possession of Firearm knowing unauthorized x2
  7. Possession for The Purpose Marihuana
  8. Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000

Deshawn Hibbert was arrested and has been charged with:

  1. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x2
  2. Possession Restricted Weapon with Ammunition x2
  3. Careless Storage Firearm x2
  4. Careless Storage Ammunition
  5. Possession of Prohibited Device x2
  6. Possession of Firearm knowing unauthorized x2
  7. Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order x2
  8. Possession of Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
  9. Possession of Prohibited Device overcapacity magazine x2
  10. Possession for The Purpose Marihuana
  11. Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
  12. Possession for the Purpose of a Schedule 1 Substance

Jamal Hibbert was arrested and has been charged with:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x2
  • Possession Restricted Weapon with Ammunition x2
  • Careless Storage Firearm x2
  • Careless Storage Ammunition
  • Possession of Prohibited Device x2
  • Possession of Firearm knowing unauthorized x2
  • Possession for The Purpose Marihuana
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000

The men appeared in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, October 8, 2017, 10 a.m., room 101.
