Update: Puppy Mill Closure by OMHS

The OSPCA investigation update is as follows. Currently, this is still an ongoing investigation in to the closure of the Puppy Mill by the Oakville Milton Humane Society on Friday February 13, 2015, and as such we are unable to release any additional details of the case at this time.

What we can share is that the dogs that were surrendered to the Oakville & Milton Humane Society during the investigation, many have already found their forever homes.

The last month as been a busy one for the adoption staff of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society as the litters of puppies came of age to be adopted.

Only one litter is left as they are just coming of age and will be available shortly. All the dogs and puppies are spayed/ neutered prior to adoption, with age appropriate vaccines. If anyone is looking to adopt one of the puppies or the adult beagles please contact the OMHS Adoption team or check our website at omhs.ca for ongoing updates.

If you are not sure if a Beagle is the right fit for your family, the adoption team has an

informative presentation to help you make the right choice.
