Vehicle strikes Cyclist by Oakville Place

On Friday, December 1, 2017 at approximately 6:35 pm police responded to call regarding a collision involving a cyclist and motor vehicle near the intersection of Trafalgar Rd and Iroquois Shore Rd in Oakville. The collision happened just north-east of Oakville Place.

A 44 year old male cyclist from Oakville collided with a motor vehicle traveling northbound on Trafalgar Road. The cyclist was assessed at the scene by paramedics before being transported to an area hospital. He is listed in serious condition.

No further details are available at this time.

As of 10:22 PM the Halton Regional Police Service's Collision Reconstruction Unit (C.R.U.) were still investigating this incident.
