Halton Regional Police are currently investigating a West Oak Trails Bank robbery, and are requesting the public's assistance in locating the culprit.

On Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at approximately 1:00pm, a lone male entered the West Oak Trails RBC Bank located at 2501 Third Line in the Town of Oakville, where he presented the teller with a note demanding cash. The RBC is located in a Mall located just east of the Third Line and South of Dundas in the community of West Oak Trails.

The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank in an unknown direction. The suspect indicated he had a weapon, however no weapon was seen.

No RBC staff members were injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as;

  1. male white,
  2. 30 to 40 years,
  3. 5'10",
  4. 170 lbs,

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, a Blue Jays hat, and large aviator-style sunglasses.
