On June 26 2019 Premier Doug Ford announced the Parliamentary Assistants who will each hold special responsibilities as a part of Ontario’s Government for the People. Stephen Crawford, MPP for Oakville has been named Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Infrastructure.

“I am excited to take on new responsibilities as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Infrastructure. I look forward to working closely with The Honourable Laurie Scott to support the development of projects which will strengthen our communities and economy, such as hospitals, transit systems, roads and bridges.” said MPP Stephen Crawford.

“Stephen brings to our team his extensive private sector experience and he understands the importance of our government’s priority to invest in our communities and renew the infrastructure that Ontarians rely on. Together, we will ensure that we deliver on the commitments we made to the people, families, and business across Ontario.” said The Honourable Laurie Scott, Ontario Minister of Infrastructure.

In Budget 2019: Protecting What Matters Most, the Government of Ontario committed to infrastructure investments of approximately $144 billion over the next decade. This historic funding will support the building of a world-class transit and transportation system, and innovative health, education, and social infrastructure to increase the quality of life of all Ontarians.
