South East Oakville is made up of two real estate areas called Morrison and Ford. However, though the areas are divided they are very homogenous. Morrision (MO) is bounded by Chartwell Road on the west, Cornwall Road on the North, Maple Grove on the East and Lake Ontario on the South. Ford (FD) is bounded by Maplegrove on the West, Cornwall on the North, Winston Churchill on the East, and Lake Ontario on the South.
Built between 26 to 60 years ago, this is a very mature area. The streets are tree-lined, the properties are substantial in-size. There are only single family dwellings. Homes range in size vastly from small bungalows, to 43,000 sq ft mansions. Most of the smaller homes are being replaced by large luxurious estate homes. Major renovations are the norm.
