Tentative agreements reached with Halton District Educational Assistants' Association and PSSP-OSSTF District 20 Halton

The Halton District School Board is pleased to announce that two tentative local agreements have been reached with H.D.E.A.A. and P.S.S.P.-O.S.S.T.F. District 20 Halton.

H.D.E.A.A. (Halton District Educational Assistants' Association) represents more than 1100 permanent and supply Educational Assistants. The Halton District School Board employs Educational Assistants to work with students with special needs, in both our elementary and secondary schools. P.S.S.P. (Professional Student Services Personnel) represents more than 100 Social Workers, Psycho-educational Consultants, Speech-Language Pathologists, and School Child and Youth Counsellors.

The tentative deals must be ratified by both H.D.E.A.A. and P.S.S.P. members and the Halton District School Board. Terms of the tentative agreements remain confidential until the ratification process is completed.
