Just a few of the hard-working staffers at Oakville News
Bringing you news about Oakville costs money. Some of you already support us, and we are very grateful you value our efforts.
However, we are still a long way from paying our bills or paying living wages to our team. We receive no government support (outside of partial payment for a summer intern this year.)
We want to keep Oakville News free for those who cannot afford it: single mothers, young people, retirees on fixed incomes, or some 10,000 of our fellow citizens who live below the poverty line.
Of the 70,000+ people who read us at least once a week, if only a small percentage gave $5 per month, we can stay accessible to all. If you value what we do, please sign up for a monthly donation at this link here: https://oakvillenews.org/donation
Donations can also be made by e-transfer at admin@oakvillenews.org, or if you prefer, you can drop off a cheque at Oakville News: 113 Herald Avenue, Oakville, Ontario, L6K 1S3.
