The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is happy to announce that the healthiest of the 100+ cats removed from the house in Halton Hills on September 5th now ready for adoption. The OMHS will be holding special viewings of the cats in the education room of the shelter with the hope of finding “forever” homes for these special cats. “We will be showing just a few at a time” said Andrea Barker,

Manager of Animal Care. “Because of their history, some may be more timid than the average cat and all will need longer than usual to settle in to a new home”.

The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is looking for some special families for these special cats. By having special viewing days and times, people who feel like they may be a good fit will have the opportunity to come in and meet the cats and apply to adopt them.

The special adoption dates for the rescued cats are November 23rd to November 30th and November 20th to December 2nd from noon to 5:00 PM. from noon to 5pm. As more of the cats recover from illnesses and surgeries additional dates will be announced. The adoption fee for adult cats is $150 and includes spay/neuter, all vaccines up to date, micro-chipping, 6 weeks of free pet insurance and a small bag of Hills Science Diet food.
