2 Fast Ways to Put Your Best Face Forward For The Holidays

'Tis the season; parties, presents and pictures. Why not this year,  do some grooming that will make you look and feel your best every where you go.

Have you ever heard anyone mumble that you have caterpillars for eyebrows? Or maybe you've gotten tired of people telling you you've got bears in the cave (damn that nose hair!).

Here are two easy things to groom before ole Saint Nick puts your on his naught-(hot)-y list.

1. Groom Your Eyebrows!

It does not make you a girl if you manage your eyebrow hair. It makes you look clueless, if you do not. Eyebrow hair grows like all hair grows; in phases. This means your sweat catchers will always need a little TLC.

Below are a few tools to maintain your brow-style. Chances are your wife or girlfriend have these, but if you worry about being teased for your primping, may I suggest buying your own stash.

Tweezers: Angled are the best, they allow you to grab and rip! Don't skimp, some brands are guaranteed for life, so its worth the investment.

Brow Comb: Looks a little too much like a mascara wand, but is essential in brushing your eyebrow fur upward to use our next fabby cabby tool-scissors.

Sharp Scissors: Sharp is important. You need to be able to snip that sometimes coarse hair on the first try. Brush the hair upward, and snip a little off the ends, then STOP. Brush the hair back in place, and assess if more needs to be cut. This way you avoid over trimming.

When grooming your brows for the first time, people would recommend going to a professional. I disagree. I think if you have the power to embark on this grooming mission, then you also have the ability to know what would make you look like a girl.

In the photos below, notice how Greg's eyebrows are over grown and mangey? With simple plucking and trimming, all of a sudden his eyes look open and brighter, and he looks much more put together, thereby completing the details of his style.

2. Trim Your Nose Hair!

No one wants to see it. In fact, we stare at it and are distracted by it, and sometimes we are even mesmerized by your dancing nose hair. If you have never ventured up there, then you are surely in need for some weed whacking. You'll breathe easier after too!

This handy dandy tool makes it easy. Turn it on, stick it up your nose (or in your ears- heck do it in your ears even if you don't know if you have ear hair- just to be safe!), whirl it around, and presto-change-o bye bye nose hair.
